Correctly acquiring the tomographic slices is the key to obtaining a precise and satisfactory prototype.
It is important for the tomography scanner operator to follow the instructions contained in the acquisition protocol to achieve the maximum effectiveness of the exam. Using this scanning protocol will result in a more reliable exam with more agreeable panoramic and transversal reformatting.

The images should be saved on a CD-ROM and sent to BioParts, sent via FTP, or sent using the on-line prototype request system.
Only the axial images are required; odontological reformatting or films are not necessary.
